New Management Company: The Shores Board has contracted with MSI, Inc. to manage the Shores, replacing Hast and Company. The contact person for homeowners is Robyn Allen, 720-974-4149.
Next Shores Board Meeting: Thursday, January 28, 6:00 pm at the Senior Center. A homeowners forum is scheduled early each meeting to hear homeowner concerns. It is helpful (but not required) to have a written document to present to the board. Board meetings are open to homeowners.

The purpose of the annual meeting of the Association is to (1) present information and answer questions, (2) elect two board members, and (3) ratify the recommended budget for the fiscal year beginning April 1, 2016. Board members Maryanne Rouse and Don Ewing will not be running for re-election. The recommended budget will be included in a mailing.
Proxy Voting: If you cannot attend the Annual Meeting, please consider assigning a proxy to vote in your place. (Proxy votes help ensure a quorum.) Please complete the enclosed proxy form and send it to MSI or give it to someone who will attend the meeting. The proxy may be another member of The Shores or the Shores Board of Directors. It is not necessary to notarize the proxy.
Election to the Board of Directors: If you would like to serve on the board, please call Robyn at MSI to have your name printed on the ballot. Directors serve three year terms. Nominations will also be accepted at the annual meeting, but will not be printed on the ballot.
Budget: The recommended budget was developed by our Management Company, the Board, and the Neighborhood Committees. It is presented to the Annual Business Meeting for ratification. No assessment changes are proposed.
Pool Season: The board designated the pool season to be from Mother’s Day weekend through September 30, with the proviso that these dates can be adjusted depending on weather. (The 2015 pool season was May 22 through September 21.)

The new site will have information not available here, such as your personal payment information. You can access the MSI website by going to sho.msihoa.co and signing in. Planning a party? A permit and deposit is required for groups of more than ten family members and two friends to use any of our common areas including the pool, tennis courts, Spinnaker Park, and the Villas Gazebo.
Homeowner Projects: Do you have a project in mind for your house or your yard? You will need to have your plan approved by the Homeowners Association. This is not optional. Download a Design Review Request form or call Robyn Allen (720-974-4149) to have this form mailed. See the “Homeowner Projects” tab for more information.
