Changes in your home or lawn require approval from the HOA. This is not optional!
Failure to submit a Project Plan can result in a fine and possible cancellation of your project. Your plan must be approved before starting your project.
The reason for this requirement is to keep our neighborhood an attractive place to live, and to improve home values. If you aren’t sure whether your project is complex enough to require approval, check first. For example, planting different flowers in an existing flower bed does not require approval, but moving a flower bed may require permission. Something as simple as adding an outside handrail requires permission. Painting your house requires approval, even if the color is to remain the same.
